is Ballistics Gel and what is it's purpose?
Ballistics gel is a testing medium scientifically correlated to swine muscle tissue (which in turn is comparable to human muscle tissue), in which the effects of bullet wounds can be simulated.
Basically, ballistics gel can be used to simulate
human flesh if to test and see the
reaction to taking on a bullet.
This type of gel is used widely in the law enforcement
field, particularly the crime and forensics
lab.
