Agricultural Drones are
capable of providing farmers with detailed aerial
views. From irrigation problems to soil
variations that aren't easily noted at ground
level. Airborne cameras can also can take
multispectul images, gathering data from infrared
in addition to the visual spectrum.
A drone can
also survey a crop every week, every day, or any
other time interval. This creates a time-series
animation, showing changes in the crop, reveling areas
of the crap that might be under performing
compared to better yielding areas.
"Relatively cheap
drones with advanced sensors and imaging
capabilities are giving farmers new ways to
increase yields and reduce crop damage".
