If you've heard of 3D Printing you know there are unlimited possibility as to what you can print. With all things possible, a young boy now has a functional 3-D printed prosthetic left hand.

Leon McCarthy a 12 year old boy, has been missing fingers on his left hand since birth.

When Leon's father discovered a you tube video showing the production and assembly of a similar 3-D printed Hand, He soon took to his own effort to produce a working prosthetic hand for his son.

Parts were very affordable at $150. Compare that to traditional prosthetic costing around $10,000 or more. A 3-D printer can make a Prosthetic hand in about 20 minutes.
